No. For the following reasons:

1. Don't worry. They're just really scared to lose, are lazy and are going to miss a good “I beat it!” feeling.
2. DISALLOWING REMIXES WILL NEVER BE IMPLEMENTED.
3. Remixing is what the website is about.
4. It wouldn't be fun if you had a great idea to add to the project, and remixing was disabled for that project.

I have an idea.
i also think remixing is great…
But i also see the point of the topic-owner.

So how is this:

Wehn you notice a Scratcher makes a copy of your project,
You, and only you, can go to the remix-tree, and attacht a little warning/spoiler-Sign to the remix.
Then, when a person want to look at the remix, a message shows up:
“This project has been declared as a spoiler/exact copy of the original.”

and that is all. Nothing's actually going to prevent the user from playing/viewing the remix.

ok i clearly see your point.

So i woudn't call it “flag”, instead i would use “sing” or “mark”
It just the information that the author of the original thinks
that this remix is inappropriate.

Its not like: WARNING!!!! THIS IS A SPOILER!! usw…
it may be only a small window in the lower right corner of the screen.

Anyways, wether you like it or not, the remix feature will stay.
