I'm a bit suprised that there is no windows 10 topic yet, so this is a fork of windows 11 topic.
Talk about windows 10 here…

Yeah, that is old and is now considered necroposting

Live Tiles (although they were too clunky and terrible for a PC) were kind of underrated

What did you just say about the best thing since… app icons on slices?

TBH they were only good when they showed live content or had a nice banner

I have about 4 or 5 preinstalled apps that still have working Live Tiles
Or at least maybe I still do, I haven't checked since I did an in-place upgrade from an ISO

OK, having done the in-place upgrade and even a Windows Update, Live Tiles still work, at least on Photos.
However, the Windows Update installed Copilot (which I immediately uninstalled) and changed my wallpaper to Windows Spotlight (which I changed back immediately after removing Copilot), all without my consent.

I Windows without my permission in the middle of the night installed an update… it is awful
It added the dreaded redesigned About page
It nags me about Windows 11 or ESU or support ending or something almost every time I enter Settings
I use a local account

Also, System Restore no longer works

Edit: Campaign Manager came after me
