The reason is that you might be signing in on other devices or browsers then your main one to do scratch, That has been the reason to me but you can report the bug to the Scratch Team via email if you think it's bug if you have been not doing the sign in on other devices/browsers thing. -MinecraftNScratchFan

Hi there . This has been a bug for a while now and the Scratch Team hasn't fixed the problem right now. There is a big discussion here that specifically mentions this exact issue, and time will tell when the ST will actually have a patch to the problem.

I think it might more than that, I think that there might be a bug that signs people out for no reason or randomly. That forum I mention have a lot of people complaining about the exact same thing.

We are aware of the ongoing bug, but it's hasn't been easy to tackle because the causes of a random logout can range anywhere from a some kind of server hiccup on the Scratch website side to IP changes to some kind of connection issue on the users side (such as an IP change or cookie issue).. It's best to post in the ongoing sticky thread about it, but it would also be best to post about any details about what you were doing and the page you were visiting when the random logout occurred so the Scratch Team can investigate further.
