DOSBox-X: open-source emulator (supports DOS and 9x/NT4 and up)
KernelEx: allows XP and 2K apps to be run on Windows 98/ME (similar projects exist for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7)

I remember this game collection for 95, which I tried out, but I don't remember its name.
I think there was hockey, a better Reversi, & a bunch of others.
Does anybody else know this pack?

You might want to add DOSBox-X. It's one of the few up-to-date programs I know of that still support Windows 95.

KernelEx lets you run newer software on 98/Me (repo, archive of wiki)

The latest and bleeding-edge (32-bit) versions of Emacs still apparently support Win95 (with unicows installed)…and MS-DOS. (even though PPC Mac support is long gone.) Older Emacs will probably be faster though.

Scratch: Scratch 1.2 supports Win98; Scratch 1.4 can unofficially run on older Squeak VMs, so you can even run 1.4 on 95. (edit: seems like even a Squeak 3.11 VM might run on Win95. So even a default installation of Scratch 1.4 may probably run on Windows 95, even though Scratch 1.0's requirements are >=Win98 and 1.3's requirements are >=Win2000. I'm ignoring all the plugins since Scratch runs fine without them)

Also, I don't know why, but Windows 7/Vista just feel…so nostalgic. I'm only gonna be 13 soon, but why is it so nostalgic
