I deleted my account 2 years ago, now I want it back. Is it possible for the ST to revive it?

I already sent a message to contact us, and they said they put me on the “waiting list for the engineers”. However, it has been 1 month without any updates.

For context, I deleted my account 2 years ago, which I really regret because I want to see how my work has improved, and how my projects was made back then.

I believe that I chose the “delete projects and delete comments” option.

I willingly deleted my account, not the ST.

I did share some projects, but when I searched my name in the search bar, only one of them came up. When I tried to open it using Turbowarp, it believed that it was an unshared projects. My studio had the label Projects: 7 even though none showed up.

I tried directly accessing my account, to no avail. ( https://scratch.mit.edu/users/Dylan_299_coding/projects )

Is there any way that I can get it back?

Thanks to anyone who would help!

Edit: I am merely using this account to retrieve my projects, if retrieving specific projects is possible, that is all i need

UPDATE: I was able to get my account and all associated projects back via Contact Us

Your account still exists. I don't think projects are ever actually deleted so it should be possible to restore them, as long as the relevant project ids are still associated with the account.

Thanks for your answer!

However, I discovered something weird in the link you showed me:
Most of the projects have been moved to Spookymoose Originals

What is this? Is it a translation error, because I can't find it in the search bar. I searched my account and no projects are there.

It's very hard restoring a deleted account, but try this?

Account deletions are permanent. There is no way to recover them in normal circumstances. However, in rare cases, the Scratch Team can grant requests to restore deleted accounts through Contact Us.

They already did, as stated in the OP.

Anyways, nothing on Scratch is ever truly deleted- and that includes accounts and projects (for situations like this, and law enforcement as required). You may just need to wait a little longer, though- the Scratch Team's engineers have been busy keeping the website in one piece.

I deleted my original account and all projects in 2023, and I was able to find four projects so far.

I used the API AJAX method where it shows all your activity, but it just shows an empty white screen for me. (https://scratch.mit.edu/messages/ajax/user-activity/?user=King_Vimto)

I also started a topic over on the requests section for any help I might be able to get, but so far I haven't received any replies, only just 38 odd views.

Though luckily my account was archived a few times over on the Wayback Machine as early as 2022, but none of the projects or studios can be opened.

In conclusion, I blame the API change.

(UPDATE - 19/12/2025: I found out how to look around the API. I found my old account description and the followers/following list.)
