Should casino projects be banned?

Casino projects should probably be be banned even if they reference gambling. I once saw a casino project, and reported it because a European age rating system has had a rule since 2020 where any references to gambling is an 18+ regarding how cartoonish they are. Take a look at Mazesplorer (or other projects), then search references to gambling. Adults and even older children would notice.

imo unless they actually give you real money i wouldn't consider scratch projects gambling
but ehh law is law so gambling projects should probably be banned (or at least restricted in the eu somehow)

I'm not sure those rules apply to games that are non-commercial. In general, accurate simulation of gambling can be expected to be anti-gambling, because winning is exceedingly rare. For example, here is a lottery simulator that accurately simulates playing the lottery. It teaches that gambling is bad by showing the losses that accrue over time. Banning it in a way would be pro-gambling.

hey! Referencing it is 18+ in Europe. I love Mazesplorer! Look at the mr. Scrummybear profile!

listen to mr. Scrummybear. He saw the one quote: "Referencing it is 18+ in Europe."
