Hello! I have an interest in old Scratch projects, and although certain keywords make searching for them easier, a ‘timeframe’ filter of sorts would be really helpful. Search engines normally let you do this with queries like this (just a random example):

Atlantic Ocean before:2012

Some also have a function which allow you to select a particular date range.
Implementing something like this would be helpful and provide interesting information to Scratchers on what Scratch was like at certain times (in my case, looking at projects around and before the time I joined). Thank you!

Another example: the definition of “meme” has varied heavily over the years, and some of the earliest such projects are actually more like questionnares than animations or humour. I'd like to search for these, but since the only search category relies on which have garnered the most attention, they are difficult to find (because as the userbase of Scratch has increased exponentially over the years newer projects are more likely to have more people come across them), leaving ‘animation’ memes as the majority of results.

I don't believe they kept a record of when projects were released but it wouldn't be too hard to categorize them based off of when they were made, but the particular date range part might be complicated since theres TONS of projects so the best they could do would probably be the month or smth.

Wouldn't the project data contain that information? Similarly to how the title is a piece of data that can be searched for

This would probably be useful for archive purposes, support.
