Game works in the Scratch app, but not on the website. HELP!!!
As the title said, my game works 100% as intended within the Scratch app, but not in the website after the title screen & opening cut scene. I uploaded my project through the app via signing into my account on the app and uploading it to the website through there.
Though I didn't have this problem while coding in the app, and I still don't after revisiting the project there, the player dies almost immediately after the opening cut scene. I've tried just tinkering around with the code and numbers, as well as the sequences, but I've had no luck.

Game works in the Scratch app, but not on the website. HELP!!!
Using [touching color] can lead to false positives, especially when the world is mostly grey. Personally I didn't get a game over, even though when I check manually I should basically wherever the player is on the screen.
Changes to make:
DEMO
Changes to make:
- Make separate sprites for the car front and car top. Make them follow the car and set ghost to 100 to make them invisible.
- Move the “car front” and “car” sprite out of the player starting area before the game starts to make sure the player isn't spawnkilled.
- Optionally change the physics so when you touch the ground you instantly move out of the ground at the correct height.

Thank you so much! I'm on a trip right now so I can't make any changes yet, but I think this might be it. Also, the reason why you didn't get a game over is probably because I was (very stupdly) messing around with stuff after this initial post. the reason you don't get a game over is because the car color is very slightly off from black, and that's what the touching color is. But your hitbox solution sounds much better and works much more for what I was going for, so thank you! I didn't even know about the ghost thing before now, lol.
