Account setting to disable seeing others' membership features
Basically the title.
If this toggle is set, then the badge, cat ears, membership bubbles, and other indicators that are associated with someone being a member are invisible to that user.

To summarize, it showed the toggle for the badge and cat ears, but it doesn't remove theIs this toggle described by that person for the user deciding if their membership shows to other people, or if the membership is shown to them? This suggestion is for a user to be able to toggle whether they can see other user's membership features, not for a user to be able to toggle whether their own are visible.Member :: reporter lookson your activity

Does this toggle stop that particular person's membership things form showing, or stop that person form seeing other people's membership things?

(#7)Person that took that image here. It disables your own membership things from showing on your profile.
Does this toggle stop that particular person's membership things form showing, or stop that person form seeing other people's membership things?
So for example, I can disable the cat ears from appearing on my profile, and then no one will see them unless I decide to turn them back on again.
It can also disable the Member badge that appears to the right of the follow button so no one can see it.
What it does not currently disable, at least at present, is the pill-shaped “Member” badge that appears next to usernames on profile pages and the forums. If, for whatever reason, you intended for your membership to be private and didn't want it to be public knowledge, this makes the previous two settings a moot point, and the only way to get around this is to not link your Scratch Membership account to your Scratch account in the first place.

Support. They just look really out of place. If they can't be removed altogether this is another nice option. chess.com has this and although I don't use it because it isn't as intrusive as this, it still makes sense.

I strongly support this. If this feature gets accepted we can actually prevent non-members saying stuff that might break the Community Guidelines towards members, and to not promote jealousy

Does anyone else think that the
(Member::looks)makes anyone feel bad because they don't have the membership?

Does anyone else think that theOn pretty much every website I've been on which had a “membership” or something adjacent to it, caste systems formed very quickly and distinctions were made which would cause some users to appear somewhat like show-offs, be it a children's rpg or a chat website.(Member::looks)makes anyone feel bad because they don't have the membership?
Kids can get very strong FOMO and might get jealous of each other, so a feature like this could serve as a great benefit.

Support. I don’t really want to see who has membership and who doesn’t all that much.
