PLEASE HELP! My code editor keeps crashing, even the project works fine!

Can you please help me fix the bug? Please don't tell me a browser extension caused it, even if it actually did. because I don't want to turn off my extension that I need for personal reasons. and I was trying to edit the code in my project Mii Maker 3D https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1216389530/ and it showed a bit of text with yellow highlighting and a green flag. when I go into the costume editor and go back to the code editor, it shows the “Whoops! Something went wrong.” error. It's so disappointing that I can't edit the code in my project because of that error.

This might be because of cat blocks.
What browser are you using?

I'm using Chrome browser because it's the main browser because I use a Chromebook. So what's yours?

Yeah you'll have to either download the newest version from GitHub or disable cat blocks until the update because Chrome doesn't have the extension update yet
Anyway, I have multiple browser versions and OSes XD

Ummmm… should disable my entire extension or what?

I think it's cat blocks specifically for this so you can disable that until the extension update is released for Chrome, but you can also do this on Chrome if you want to keep cat blocks:
1. Download your settings
2. Disable the extension (since you're going to have two of the extension running at the same time if you don't, which causes problems)
3. Turn on developer mode for extensions if it isn't already on
4. Find the newest version through the GitHub and load it into Chrome

I turned off the cat blocks and I finally got the glitch fixed. Thank you very much!
