It is on purpose. Links to Drive and similar can share your full name and email address, as well as facilitate private messaging

I don't know if this is the post that you are talking about, but on my version of the directory, she said she doesn't want a bunch of people reporting it or be stickied since it spams the report queue. But the “reports to be stickied” on this topic were like a month ago, so probably not a problem anymore.
