I also got a accurate result after doing the verification, so, you're not the only one

Doombringer's a bit of a difficulty spike in my opinion. You should probably have your income upgrades at a high level. I'd recommend this loadout;
Battler // Trowel Battler // Sword Battler // Baller Battler
Grenade Battler // Titan Battler // Sniper Battler // Rocket Battler

Notes:
- Grenade Battler isn't required and is mostly to help with crowds.
- If you own any of these units' alt forms (obtained at level 10), use them; Trowel, Sword, Grenade, Rocket, Titan
- Sniper is the alternate form of Paintball Battler, and while not required, is a great help for Doombringer due to his attacks ignoring armor.
- I'd recommend getting your bank to around level 6 or so, mostly to reclaim ground when Doombringer wipes out most of your defense at 25% health.
- Titan should be at least level 6.
- Your priority for base upgrades should be mostly income upgrades, unit limit, unit recharge and enemy bounty.
- If you need to, turn on Casual Mode. This shows all enemies and units' HP bars, but you gain 10%(?) less XP.
- DO NOT USE THE GACHA! Using the gacha this early on is arguably one of the worst choices you could make (unless you get Chairman or something lol…). Save your gacha for when you're around midway through Chapter 2.
- If you need a good cannon, I'd recommend beating the Coil Chaos subchapter. You'll unlock the Recoil cannon, which lets you knock back ANY enemy, including bosses. The subchapter should give you around 250 bricks total, which is more than enough to buy the cannon (cannon costs 200.)

With that being said, I hope this helps you out in defeating Doombringer!

I did too, but however, the loadout mentioned is a no gacha loadout, so you're not cooked (from what I think) but still, it does require a bit of exp grinding, but I heard torturing jetrock does the thing to give exp
