Future pronouns, gender, and sexuality ✧|✧ In the future, Wintergreenkit will go by they/them/it pronouns, identifying as non-binary. I'm currently unsure what sexuality they will identify with, but I do think they'll have eye candy for more soft and fragile appearing characters.

How long do you plan on keeping the kit? ✧|✧ Since dragons live incredibly long, I'm hoping to keep Wintergreenkit long into their elderly moons. When they retire, I think they will enjoy telling stories to the younger cats, as well as insisting on doing things for themselves, rather than letting others help them. I also think they might possibly acquire a hoard of trinkets, in homage to dragons hoarding treasure, even if the behavior isn't commonly found in wyverns.

About the kit ✧|✧ Wintergreenkit is an intersex cat with silver fur that becomes lighter around the stomach, muzzle, paws, and tail. They are seen as fierce and protective, often driven by instinct and observation. They're not keen on thinking, and they will often choose whatever they feel is best, rather than talking with those around them about what might be the best course of action. Their fur is short but thick, often getting in the way of enemy attacks. It is also ruthless in its attacks, preferring a more brutal and head-first approach rather than anything that would be considered skillful by their Clanmates. Because of this, it will most likely obtain multiple scars over its lifetime, which may actually assist in easing dysmorphia on occasion. At the beginning of their life, Wintergreenkit will probably be a reckless kit who's a fervent bundle at the beginning, although they will probably frequently be upset and take out their frustration on others. Still, they will not recognize why yet. As they grow older, they will most likely become more closed off and introverted as their behavior will probably be seen as childlike or immature, with clanmates perhaps showing frustration that why Wintergreenkit can't just be like everyone else, but eventually they will realize that they're an otherkin, specifically a wyvern, and that hopefully will allow them to understand themself and others more.

╰ ┈┈➤ Wintergreenkit is a rather alert kit, constantly paying attention to its surroundings and interpreting the things around it. They hate missing what's going on around them, and will often become upset if they have, asking others to fill in the gaps for them. They rely mostly on their senses to tell them what's going on, and, even when paying attention, will often tune in to other things going around them, even if it's other conversations or another's actions. Because of this, they don't enjoy things that cloud their senses or distract them, such as potent smells, loud noises, rain, and snow. A downside to this is that they only wish they could see things from a bird's-eye perspective, and often itch for the wings that would allow them to soar high in the sky and achieve this.

They are eager to learn new things, and upon hearing that someone knows something, will almost always go to them to see what's going on and try to learn something new. They tend to pick up things rather quickly, although they are not regarded as intelligent due to their immature behavior.

╰ ┈┈➤ …Wintergreenkit, although it may not seem like it at first, is nothing more than an outgoing bundle of energy who enjoys being active. They rarely enjoy lounging around unless there's a reason for it; otherwise, they prefer to be outside or doing something productive. What's considered productive will certainly change over time, but it'll typically follow along the lines of sparring or playing games when they're younger, to hunting, sparring, and training when they're older. They typically have an outwardly cold appearance, but are rather energetic when opening up to others.

╰ ┈┈➤ …Wintergreenkit has an ambition to succeed and make those that they care about proud of them, whether this be the leader, their family, or merely their Clan. They strive to become the leader, seeing it as the paragon of success, and will do relatively anything within their power to achieve that goal. This does mean that it is easily swayed in order to do things if the result means making others proud, or the result is part of a larger goal. They find little success in short-term goals, as well, preferring to work towards larger goals, even if they seem outlandish or typical in the beginning, they will usually stay loyal to these goals.

╰ ┈┈➤ …However, Wintergreenkit's energetic and carefree personality comes with a substantial amount of aggressiveness. What causes it is unclear, whether it be from dysphoria, the world around them, or any other reason. They're not afraid to throw jabs at others, even if they're not close to them. They will be openly hostile to most trespassers they come across, and won't be afraid to throw claws if anything gets on their nerves. They will openly question authority if they believe it's incorrect or wrong, or even just that someone else could do better. This hostility might extend to their clanmates, with it sneering and hissing at anyone who dares to come too close, especially during dysphoric episodes.

They don't mind other cats' company, and rather enjoy it, but they tend to feel as if others get in the way of their business, or stop them from being productive except for a few specific others. They're particularly hostile, even to those close to them, when others start trying to do things for them on unprecedented terms.

They tend to have nothing bad to say about those they're loyal to, and will defend them no matter the cost, unless they themselves are wronged.

They will probably keep this small collection in the back of a den, a hole, or decorate their nest with them. If they lose any of these items or they are stolen, because of the emotional attachment that Wintergreenkit will have to them, they will act hostile and cold to anyone they suspect or know either took it or got rid of it. They'll even collect random junk that they find, preferring strange things (twoleg objects?) compared to foliage and plants.

It often doesn't care about the means by which something has to get done, either. They are also rather clumsy and daredevilish, often getting themselves injured or in trouble because of their reckless nature.

They do, however, frequently look back on these things and question themselves, trying to take them into account for future actions, even if it may truly only be a thought, and is never truly executed on their part.
Lonesome ⁺˖⸝⸝… ❝ solitary or lonely ❞
╰ ┈┈➤ … Wintergreenkit doesn't enjoy interacting with the rest of their Clan too much, preferring to open up only to a select few. Otherwise, they'll typically put up an act or quickly try to get away from the situation, remarking that they have things to do or promised someone they'd do something. It doesn't enjoy hanging out with some cats more than others, especially those they see in negative lights, and will typically behave outwardly hostile towards these cats.

Do you plan on giving them disabilities, disorders, or neurodivergence? ✧|✧ I don't plan on giving Wintergreenkit any disabilities or neurodivergence. Any disabilities that will be caused later in life by injuries (e.g., mauling, blinding, etc.) will be researched upon acquisition. I may give Wintergreenkit an ED, but I am still pensive about that, since Scratch is a site for all ages, and if these characters do become widely known through the Clan, I do not want Wintergreenkit to be characterized by only one negative thing. I also don't want younger kids who might interact with my character to think that having an ED is cool or trendy. I know various people who've gone through EDs, have them, and I have also had a few myself.

Why do you want this kit? ✧|✧ I want Wintergreenkit because I haven't roleplayed here on Scratch in a LONG while, since TBOL is kind of dead, and I haven't interacted much with my TFC and TSS characters, being relatively disinterested in them for the most part since I hadn't interacted much with other characters. I also want a character that I can project myself onto, or that represents me in a few ways (at least one that's not my persona).

Why should you have this kit? ✧|✧ I should have Wintergreenkit because I'll try to accurately portray them to the best of my ability, while also managing the new features in MC that I've never seen before (I believe there's rolling which a few other RPs have, as well as some kind of exp system??), as well as giving Wintergreenkit plenty of lore and SRP development. I've also roleplayed and managed plenty of other characters, most of which are in dead rps or have been removed from the RP. Although I have a habit of letting some characters collect dust, I truly do adore and roleplay frequently with those that I find fascinating, and Wintergreenkit's concept and self-dynamic intrigues me a TON!

What are you researching? ✧|✧ Otherkin + AIAB (intersex)

Sources ✧|✧ For otherkin, I interrogated my friends who are therians and asked them a lot of questions, so most of my answers are based on their responses. I did this since they said that they either didn't know good websites for research or that websites were unreliable and spread false information for the most part.

What causes intersex in cats? ✧|✧ Intersexuality (DSD) in cats, also known as hermaphroditism, is a rare genetic mutation in which cats are born with both female and male reproductive organs. It occurs when a cat's chromosomes, gonads (an organ that produces gametes), or anatomy don't develop in a typical female or male manner. This is a natural occurrence, and not a disease or a sign of poor health. However, cats who are intersex are at higher risk of having cancer on the reproductive organs.
Similar to humans, intersexuality is caused by a chromosomal mutation. Chromosomes are what determine an organism's *, not their gender (ASAB is actually usually judged depending on what reproductive organs an organism has, not their chromosomes). Abnormalities in the chromosomes that can cause intersexuality in cats happen when the chromosomes don't appear as XY or XX. Some of these mutations include XXY chromosomes (similar to Klinefelter's in humans ), XO (similar to Turner's syndrome ). Intersexuality can also be caused by chimerism in cats. These chromosomal mutations affect how the body responds to hormones (as seen in Androgen Feminization), the hormones that are produced, as well as disrupt or affect otherwise normal development.
Intersexuality in cats also causes the cat to be infertile, meaning that they are unable to reproduce (either being unable to fertilize an egg or produce eggs that can be fertile).
There is no cure for intersexuality in cats; it can only be managed using methods similar to human treatment, such as surgery, hormone therapy, and therapy.

How intersexuality will affect Wintergreenkit ✧|✧ Wintergreenkit will have an XXY chromosomal mutation and be infertile. Because the XXY chromosomal mutation is similar to Klinefelter's syndrome, I'm going to say that Wintergreenkit will have feminine characteristics to its appearance.

ALTERFELINE:
What are the kits kintypes/theriotypes? ✧|✧ Wintergreenkit's otherkin type is a wyvern, a type of mythical creature that closely resembles a dragon, but has a few distinct characteristics, such as having two hind legs and wings in place of forewings. Wyverns are also considered more animalistic than dragons, although they make agile and quick fighters.

Does the kit have alterhuman (alterfeline?) shifts? If so, what kind? ✧|✧ Wintergreenkit will have phantom shifts, primarily with wings. They may also occasionally think that they have longer limbs, sharper teeth, or protruding spines. It may also have mental shifts on occasion, which may include them acting more hostile and impulsive than usual, with both usually resulting in Wintergreenkit being harmed in some sort of manner. They may also become nonverbal during these times, and may refuse to talk to anyone outside of vocal or body cues.

Dysphoria research ✧|✧ Wintergreenkit will often get frustrated or go into terms of isolation because of their dysphoria. They will often wish that they had the traits of a wyvern, especially wings, or that they could fly up in the sky. They will often get envious of birds because of this reason, and may go on impulsive hunting sprees.

Euphoria research ✧|✧ Wintergreenkit finds it rather difficult to obtain euphoria to combat their dysphoria, but they typically find that fighting helps them, as well as collecting little trinkets ('hoarding'). They may also go to higher altitudes or try to escape the canopy of the forest, even going so far as to try climbing trees.
