comment block

Hi everybody,

I think it can be very helpfull having the ability to add “comment block” so you can explain your program if you want.

Oops ! I just see we can add comment by right click on the mouse in the script area…

I think a comment block is a good idea though. You could sort a long script into parts like
whenclickedsetito1start loopforeverchangeiby1
That's just a basic idea. Scratch needs a better comment system. Support.

Support, but I think there should also be a C-block version. Like this:
sample comment. . .end

Reconsidering my own-answer, I agree with you, I think a comment block is complementary with actual pad comment.

There used to be a block like:



but it was removed because new scratchers were confused about its purpose. However, I think it looks much neater.

This is a pretty good idea. But, do note there are uses for comment blocks not stacking or c-block, and to make the comment block's use more apparent, it should be the same color as the comments we have at the moment.
