ok so I saw some pages from the Darkstalker gn of the SeaWing massacre scene and not what I expected (in a bad way)
I heard it was pretty bloody and it wasn’t; Jake Parker drew the dragons actually getting killed on screen and stuff but there was actually very little blood and it was all bright red
I was expecting for at most each dragon the same amount of blood that Mike Holmes did for Kestrel’s death in the first gn
I was lied to TvT
aww man… I kinda wanted the book for the cool death parts…

did anything important happen in the dangerous gift? I did not barely process any of the information from the book… except for the opal ring and the crown and the silkwings/leafwings coming to pyrrhia and the bracelet…….

If the flames of hope is book 15, than what about “The Dangerous Gift”?

dangerous gift is basically a filler book tbh and all that really happens is the pantalan dragons coming over and everyone deciding to love each other and they discover why animus magic broke - and my own personal opinion is that Tui used it as an excuse to write from a very interesting personality

HOWEVER it is my favourite WoF because of how unique Snowfall's personality is and I would say it is definitely an entertaining read even if the plot doesn't progress a whole lot

To be fair tho I think that's tui's fault for writing that scene in such a descriptive way- telling exactly how each dragon died

I'm confused on people's reactions to saying that Wings of Fire is for kids. Yes, there are children too young to handle the violence and gore, but other than that I don't see the problem. -snip
Hope this can clear any doubts up. (you don't have to agree with me)
Uh maybe you shouldn't link that, Scratch has different rules than scholastic, and that includes acknowledging blood and gore before saying something is for kids.
