I'm gonna throw in my two cents here:
There is now a precedent for Apple allowing apps that run code to modify different code, namely the Delta emulator.

Someone on scratch made something called itchy, which lets you see stuff on scratch. Unfortunatly, you cant code on there. That is my favortie part of scratch.: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1241274121/ (idk if i can post apple links directly)
