hello everyone, and happy thanksgiving to those who celebrate!! i hope you all have been having a great session so far <3

the host team just wanted to give a quick reminder about caps when adding words. remember that if you a camper add more than 5k words, you should often ask for partial proof or an in-depth outline of what they wrote. i know this can be a little awkward, but it’s been a rule for a long time, and your campers should hopefully be aware of it.

the overall cap for reserves is 10k—if a camper tries to add more than that, remind them of this rule, ask for proof, and add 10k maximum. so, for example, if someone tries to add 12k words in one day, you can only add 10k of that. the same rules about proof and adding caps apply to (co)leaders, so make sure to set a good example for your cabin!

make sure to reread the relevant sections of the leader instructions if you need more information; if you have additional questions, feel free to ask here!

Just letting everyone know that I will be away on orienteering camp this weekend. I should be able to be on occasionally but will be busy.
So I will unfortunately be missing the end of camp, but thank you all for an amazing session (proper thank you notes will be done next week if i don't have too much schoolwork. which i will have too much of anyway but we'll see) <33
