Cloud variable issues...

Welp, Cloud Variables are back up; however, if you look into that User cloud variable projects, it is still being hacked by trolls. I would recommend that Scratch shut down the site if it ever has the chance to fix that issue, but as the clouds it self there back.

But hey, that's Something and at least it's better than nothing so I should be thankful that it's fixed.

Also Thank Codubee and his team for fixing this issue if your reading this

Ok, I requested this topic to be reopened, or someone else requested it to be reopened. Well, either way, the clouds are down, and I think it will take a while, so my post above aged something

If we're still referring to the bot that is attacking one of Griffpatch's multiplayer projects, couldn't Griffpatch remove the old project, and reupload it as a brand new project to obtain a new project ID, in which the bot would have NO information on?

Because the bot “thing” account is banned, so whoever is behind it wouldn't be able to access griffpatch's “new” project ID number if this was the case, right? Except that we assume that Griffpatch will not do such a thing.

The cloud variables right now are kinda working, sometimes there up sometimes there down.

I wonder if you could make a game based on the cloud variables being up or down. Like certain things are easier when cloud is up but other things are harder. And vice versa when cloud is down. (But then there's the problem of a project may not be able to tell if the cloud is up or down on its own?)

I mean…… You're not wrong….. All that would have to be done is to use a variable detection system used by cloud in a way that it checks if cloud data is up or down. Maybe perhaps like a leaderboard system, or something to check this information If the online board has gone unchanged in like 10 frames, or in 5 seconds on checking, then cloud data is down.

Yes. But the problem is that the variables NEVER truly returned; for some reason, they are updated, but only locally. They are saved on the board but not in the variable.Is it just me that this happens to?

It's the issue with the servers. Someone somewhere has to pay for these, and Scratch Team doesn't “exactly” have all the money in the world being a free programming language for kids and all… Without that, the servers just seem to stop running without a proper fix

¿Podrían revisar si mi cuenta o mis proyectos están bloqueados para el buscador por error?

Yeah I made a new game with high score. At first it set, but now whenever I get past 17 in my game, it resets back to 17. Frustrating! Using turbowarp for your projects might help, though.
