Dark mode would be good as long as its optional due to the fact that some people perfer light than dark but theres also people who like light mode durring the day and dark mode durring the night. so suport

I was thinking if there were lots of posts, the scratch team would look at it, but there is no dark mode, and they have not said anything about a dark mode. Scratch is super bright, and can cause eye strain, as people have said before. They have done it before, but removed it.

They did have a dark mode option when developing high contrast blocks. However, the option never got added to Scratch.
Also, a topic from 2016 being described as old makes me feel old..
