semi-support I think it'd be pretty cool but my fave color is purple and blue so why change that lol

if purple being the default color isn't enough, i have a few suggestions of what the new colors would be
red
orange
yellow
green
teal
blue
magenta
pink
gray/grey
custom (allows for different colors hues other than the ones below)

A lot of good points were made for this that directly support Scratch's goals.

If we can get the attention of the ST, there's a very good chance this will get implemented!

I would like a dark mode like in Turbowarp!

i think this has been on the st's mind for a long time but it could never get past ux - if a member is reading this i would love some update pls!!

Not sure if this counts as on-topic, but I had a dream last night where they added this, and some of the colors available were blue (similar to before they changed the color scheme), yellow, and green. I had blue chosen.

Some dreams have meanings, maybe it's confirmed that they are adding this, who knows

would you consider that to be an acceptable colour? i think it would be genuinely an amazing idea to have presets with the colours of blocks, although the colour for sensing should be updated to the blue everyone's been used to, and maybe we can add the original 3.0 blue?

but there's a problem with this bc i heard that saturated red can reduce cognitive function in some people

it should not be the default but the colour that works best for the user should be the one that they choose. for me, my custom nav bar indeed is a somewhat dark red
