No, I think the desktop version has that too
I know because I tried downloading the offline editor through Microsoft’s app store onto my computer not too long ago

No, I think the desktop version has that too

I'm not going to lie, the new “Thumbnail” thing is kinda annoying - unless you want to make a separate backdrop/sprite then set it as your new thumbnail and delete it, it will still be there. But I miss Scratch from 5 months ago.

You don't have to use it…

its kinda required if you want the project to have a thumbnail, as it doesn't automaticially update when you save anymore (this used to be the default behavior).

Just a quick question for anyone. Has anyone else been experiencing not being able to save their projects? It's really annoying and I can't fix it.

There's going to be an update on Scratch where ‘Membership’ is added to the navbar.

I do not know if anyone noticed but https://scratch.mit.edu/about/ got a little update.

The “About” button in the navbar has been replaced with “Membership” on 3.0 pages. I just noticed it today

I just saw the button pop up for a split second!
I had to sign out just to actually see in the header.
Of course, out of everything, they chose to put the membership in the header
