can there be an extention for like connecting to an xbox or switch or playstation controllers this would be a cool extention idea and you could make a local multiplayer game without using weird keybinds i don't think that there is a way to do this already unless you have a makey makey which not very many people have i think i don't have one but just think of all the possibility
super smash bro's on scratch could be cranked up a notch
and multiplayer minecraft using four switch controllers this would be cool

I would just use a micro:bit (it works with both of mine but apparently not with 2.21).
Alternatively there is an option in a browser extension for Scratch which I must not name called Gamepad Support.

I don't have a Microbit either but i do have video game controllers a complication for scratch would be getting the rights from said video game companies to use their controllers but i believe in them.

i don't have microbit or gamepad but i could try with the turbowarp extention
but that is not compatible with regular scratch
but if all you wanted was to play smash bros with your friends then that would be fine and you wont have to hack it into scratch somehow
