scratch should realize the truth a little more

I think I'm going to need more clarity from the author of this suggestion. What, specifically, is being suggested? Changes to the website? Changes to the language? Changes to other products that Scratch offers?

There are some interesting ideas here - but I'm not seeing data to support the statements - and I have no idea what changes are specifically being recommended.

Even though I'm not the author.

sounds like they want YALL to push kids to code, but that's not possible for YOU to do its the kids, and/or parents

Well, the first thing they said was how Scratch was meant for kids to learn and code, but now there are Scratchers who push Scratch to its limits, like 3D games and stuff so it's basically in the middle for beginners and professionals.

The other thing they said is that if Scratch Jr became what Scratch is right now, it would do something?

The rest is a rant like about how kids use other stuff like Roblox and not Scratch even though that's more of a parent's issue, and they then say that if a kid who uses their time on brainrot and whatever uses Scratch they will get bored but if a older person say 22 of age uses Scratch they'll get hooked and Scratch Foundation should realize this, I did hear that the Scratch Foundation wants 100 or 150 million more users before 2027 so that's something.

Also, they say they have a question, and it's why does Scratch need to be more user friendly if Scratch Jr exists.

That's the best I can decode from what the OP said.

Are you saying regular Scratch should be more advanced and for older people while everybody younger uses ScratchJr?

The provided text is an opinion piece arguing that the educational coding platform Scratch has outgrown its original purpose of teaching young children. The author observes that most children today prefer games like Roblox and only use Scratch for school assignments, while older teens and young adults are the primary users truly engaging with the platform's full potential. The author suggests that because a simpler version, Scratch Jr, already exists for the youngest kids (ages 5-7), the main Scratch platform should raise its “skill ceiling” and become more advanced to better suit its current, older demographic. The text urges the platform's owners to acknowledge this shift in user demographics and update the website's direction accordingly.
this is what ai though but its wrong 50 percent of the time

I have a feeling that the OP isn't going to see anyone's response to this topic

Scratch is still a website that children use as there are over 150 million and the scratch foundation wants 100 million more before 2027
Why would they if it's already hard to moderate 150 million?

Then they'll hire more moderators. They wouldn't almost double their user-base without hiring more support. That's also why they're introducing the Scratch membership, to raise more funds for expansion. They want to expand to have as many kids learning to code as possible, that's the entire purpose of Scratch.
That's not too easy to do.
Have you ever run a company that gets millions?

From what we know: The OP wants scratch to implement more complex features and raise the skill ceiling as Scratch JR already exists for kids who still don't know things, plus kids using Scratch have evolved enough to know what things like
([tan v] of (9)::operators)
are. Overall: SUPPORT
