KotP is paired with an actual response, not just an entire post dedicated to it.

Time for a historical tale.
It's an unstructured day of 7th grade. I go to Scratch. Everything is fine. I try to search something I made (the project “Bright Render” IIRC) up on Scratch. Nothing shows up. I reload the page. BLOCKED. I am angry about this. Some kid then says it's because the quiz site with the cube pigs (can't name it for some reason) is better. That's like saying apples taste better than pizza. And then I email the IT department 2,763 times (hyperbole and Battle for Dream Island together? Oh my HudsonSoft!) asking to unblock Scratch. They tell me it was blocked over “not being FERPA compliant”, so I tell them that it IS, in fact, FERPA compliant, so they argue it's blocked because of, and I “Quote”, “a login portion we cannot unblock.” They also tell me to stop sending them emails about unblocking websites, and to have my teachers do it for me. A while later, the IT crew makes the decision to block Cool Math Games. A mysterious student asks for Cool Math Games to be unblocked. The IT team unblocks Cool Math Games. A while later, in the month of June. The IT fellas say they'll be “limiting student access to YouTube on district internet” (or something like that) effective on the last day of the 2024-2025 year. I want to watch YouTube in 8th grade. “Your administrator has disabled access to this service” message. The IT jerks never said “No student access to YouTube again.” They said “Student access to YouTube will be limited on our Wi-Fi”. I thought they meant “Only certain videos during school, kids!” NO. They meant “No videos during school, kids!” There's also a poem in my Google Keep about making a poster asking for Scratch to be unblocked. (I haven't gone through with the poem yet…)

A while later, the IT crew makes the decision to block Cool Math Games. A mysterious student asks for Cool Math Games to be unblocked. The IT team unblocks Cool Math Games (o god what’s wrong with scratch that’s not wrong with cool math games. If anything cool math games should be blocked not scratch because the majority of the games are cool, but they ain’t math (no offense, cool math games.)). A while later, in June, the IT fellas say they'll be “limiting student access to Youtube on district internet” (or something like that) effective on the last day of the 2024-2025 year. I want to watch Youtube in 8th grade. I got the dang “Your administrator has disabled access to this service” message. The IT jerks never said “No student access to Youtube again.” They said “Student access to Youtube will be limited on our Wi-Fi”. I thought they meant “Only certain videos during school, kids!” NO. They meant “No videos during school, kids!” (continued below)There's also a poem in my Google Keep about making a poster asking for Scratch to be unblocked (I haven't gone through with the poem yet…).
(continued from above) …And then I try again at home, and they full on prevented student access (to Youtube) on all Wifi networks. I thought they meant “No videos during school, kids!” NO. They really meant, “No videos on these school computers, kids! You have other devices you can watch videos on.” I then try to load Scratch. It’s still blocked, but Cool Math Games isn’t. No matter what Wifi, no matter what location, Youtube won’t load, and Scratch won’t load, but Cool Math Games will load. Around Fall Break, Scratch gets unblocked because it has a new feature. Videos on other video websites have their own pages too on Scratch Forums. So I decide to check some out, but then the videos get blocked. And then it says: Reason: We converted the videos to Youtube URLs. Reason: You ain’t supposed to watch videos. Also, there are no possible workarounds. Yep! We’ve worked around ALL of your workarounds including logging out of school accounts (which you should never do). I try every location and Wifi network. I can think of. Still blocked. All because of a dang URL change.
