Devlog 0.0.1

As a first devlog, I've added a new map: Tapany High
Tapany high is a prestigious school known for teaching advanced magic and exaggerating their student's strengths.
A crossover from my other game Mini Battle Mod

I've also added three new creatures: Yeti, Bat and Pegasus.

Yeti
Yeti is a 9-HP tank that can place ice on the field - either to boost allies or make bounces more unpredictable for enemies with its slipperiness.
They have 3 Energy, and both of their moves cost 2 Energy - allowing them to perform 2 actions back to back if at full energy.
Ice as an obstacle is kind of tricky to utilize and play around, so getting its abilities right will take some time.

Bat
The bat is much stronger than it looks, being able to heal off of every attack. Most creatures will have a hard time killing it because it can move every turn, which almost guarantees that the bat can heal.

Pegasus
Pegasi are known for their unique mobility feature, which allows them to fly above obstacles. This makes field effects and walls useless against them, but they can still be blocked by creatures.
Another caveat to their unique passive is that they (similar to the golem) can only move every third turn. They have great speed to compensate, but they are vulnerable when they leave the safety of an obstacle.

Hey, guys! Back already with a small but cool update.

A new creature has joined the roster: The Sap Beast.

Sap Beast
Sap Beasts are summoners that spawn in an egg. For 4 turns you can upgrade the egg using its ability, and when 4 turns pass, the egg hatches into a Sap Crawler.
Sap Crawlers start with low stats, but gain 1 Damage, 1 Max HP, 1 Speed and 2 turns more of duration for every upgrade it received before hatching.
In summary, the Sap Beast has the potential to summon one of the strongest creatures in the game, but it consumes a lot of your active turns to do so.

I've also changed the sound system for creatures, making it possible for multiple creatures to have the same “Sound ID”. This was mainly because I didn't want to make entirely new sounds for the Pegasus when I could just use the same ones from the Unicorn.

Alright, new content, woohoo!

This time, there are 2 new creatures and a new Hero?!

Anaisty
The newest addition to Mysticality's Hero roster. She is a patient character who is all about slowly buffing her team in order to push the enemy with hyper-strong units.
Her ability, Encasing Love, allows you to target an ally and trap them in sap. While trapped, they aren't able to perform any abilities - but they are protected by a sap barrier. After 4 turns, the creature is set free, and they're given the “Sap” buff - which gives them +1 Max HP, +1 Damage and +1 Speed.
Her Favor is the Sap Beast, making its “Sap Song” ability stronger. Normally, the Sap Beast summons an egg, but its pretty easy to kill. The favor makes the upgrade also apply “Flowers” to the egg, which will heal it the next turn. This basically makes the egg significantly harder to kill when its upgrading.

And now to explain the Mimic and the Mandrake.

Mimic
The Mimic is a returning creature from the original, and it was probably the coolest creature of the old cast. The Mimic is a weird creature who is able to take the form of another creature. When its first spawned, it starts in its normal form with the “Launch” ability. When it collides with any creature (enemies or allies) it will instantly respawn as that creature. This can make for some interesting plays, such as summoning a 4-energy Mimic to copy a 6-energy creature for cheap.

Mandrake
The Mandrake is a pretty deadly creature who slowly whittles away at their enemies' Max HP. When it becomes the Mandrake's turn, it lets out a scream which reduces the Max HP of any opponent that hears it. It also has the ability to unleash another scream for 2 Energy. While it is fragile and has 0 damage, it counters any heal teams or tanks since it lowers the potential healing enemies receive and the potential damage they can take.

New creatures, new map, and a new hero that completely changes the game!

New Map: King's Hallway

This is meant to be Reynold's map (whenever I get to making him a character), where you would be able to fight him as the second-to-last main boss. On this map, there are zero natural obstacles. This means that the only blockades are your creatures, and certain creatures that need certain map elements to be useful will hate it here.

New Hero: Serabelle
Serabelle is a normal princess who is tired of being a sit-at-home daughter, and wants to play a more active role for the kingdom which she is heir to.
For her ability, Serabelle throws glitter at any enemy within her range - switching their side for 4 turns! This is one of (if not) the most powerful of defense Hero abilities, since she can get so much utility out of it. You can attack enemies with their own unit, you could move them into a dangerous situation, or you could sit them in lava.
Serabelle favors the Unicorn, which allows it to do half of its damage to enemies. Unicorns technically have 2 damage, but that is converted to healing - meaning that the Unicorn only does 1 damage when favored. This is meant to play into her “mind control” mechanic, where you can heal an enemy while its on your side, but damage them if they're not.

New Creature: Eclipse Beetle
The Eclipse Beetle is a defensive creature that blocks enemy projectiles within its barrier.

Upon spawn, the beetle gets a large shield that blocks enemy projectiles and allows everything else through. Allies can shoot through it, and allies as well as foes can go through it as well. Aside from this barrier, the creature is pretty basic. It has the 2-energy launch, and does 2 damage with below-average speed.
A really good creature for helping your allies push a lane. The old threat of certain defensive shutdown creatures camping in a lane becomes much less of a problem.

New Creature: Minotaur
The Minotaur is a tanky creature that gets a damage boost when it's at or below half health.

When it becomes the Minotaur's turn, if it is at or below half health, it gains the “enraged” buff, which makes it do double damage to enemies. This multiplier is added after any other damage gain/reduction statuses. They're a pretty solid unit, but they do have an inherent weakness to things like Mandrakes, Ghosts and of course, crowd control creatures. They also cost 6 energy, which means it'll take some time to get them out onto the field.

Starting next devlog, I'll try to input other things, like what I'm currently working on, balance changes, and other game updates. I just found out how to do images too, so things will look more exciting.
