If you're a beginner coder (Like, REALLY new), Code.org. If you want to learn more coding, Scratch. If you want to do advanced coding, neither.

I never used Code.org but based on what i've heard there's a built in minecraft thing in there
Code.org is an education innovation nonprofit dedicated to the vision that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn about artificial intelligence (AI) and computer science (CS) as part of their core K-12 education.

Okay, since my last post was kinda rushed and biased (at that time, I didn't have a code.org account), let me come out with a proper post.

The Editor
Scratch, in my opinion, is more geared towards a DIY mindset. Sure, Scratch has tutorials and such but those “tutorials” are basically just step-by-step guides on how to do the thing you want to do. Code.org, on the other hand, is more geared towards a “externalization” mindset. Major blocks that would normally take tons and tons of blocks and general effort are reduced to one quick block (for example, in the Flappy Bird “guide”, the block for flapping is just
flap a [normal v] amount :: #00b0bc
whereas in Scratch, having something that exact behaviour would require at least 50 blocks and 2 variables)

The Community, or lack thereof
Scratch actually has a community. A large one at that. While code.org does have a way to share projects with the public, the way to access them is complicated (Home -> Projects -> Select “Public Projects”) and even then the age range is wildly off (for example, innocent projects are marked as “18+”).

*coughs* the code.org staff isn't that good (even if they made a bot in which case it would be that they didn't design the bot well) if they rate random, inoccent games 18+

THEY DON'T RATE GAMES THE CREATOR DOES THAT!! STOP DISSING CODE.ORG!!
