hmmmmmmmm, what if they do a puzzle TO find the notes about the casinos history? We can make each point on the map a mini puzzle or game which they have to solve or figure out to unlock that note? we could do something with locks?

puzzles sounds fun but i’m concerned about coding/setting up all of it in such a short time </3 maybe to make it more collaborative, collecting keys would give you a codeword, and as soon as 3 campers comment the codeword (someewhere private) a note gets unlocked?
notes could be stuff like “1970 - casino opens, owned by an already well-known wealthy busninessman” “1980 - following charity fundraiser at casino, owner is seen to take a private jet on vacation” or whatever!

I noticed our prologue is taking a bit longer than expected, which is fine, we have plenty of time, but should we like encourage them to have them talking to multiple people at once, since we’re less than halfway done?

again, I’m sorry for my inactivity, it was unexpectedly tech week for my musical, I have tons of homework, orchestra concerts, as well as multiple birthday celebrations, and I’ve been trying to take care of myself (life > swc, though I have been working on some swc things) so my week has and will continue being hectic—I just wanted to let yall know and I’m hoping to be more active in a couple days <3

I think you could share it so we get on schedule! I probably won’t make a storyline bit then because it feels a little unnecessary and overwhelming information for the campers—you could explain a bit in the challenge! volunteers can do whatever but we can share whenever you’re ready <3

Hey there Phantom Thieves, great job on completing the prologue challenge! We've heard from a number of individuals about an ongoing scam involving rigged games….

To investigate this mystery further, we'll be taking our adventure into the Metaverse - a place away from the world we know where people's distorted desires take the form of palaces.

We've got a number of questions to answer at this stage: How is it that all of these people have been scammed? Who is “Midas”, and what does he want?


♠ Instructions

For this first challenge, we're trying to gather an idea of what the inside of the palace is like, and hopefully advance further inside - to do this, we need you to write a collaborative story!

For every two parts added by fantasy campers, you'll unlock a new area and information to accompany it. In the comments below, anyone is free to start off the story! Ideally, each addition should be ~170 words or two comments long, but we won't really be enforcing this - we trust your judgement as to what's too short or too long <3

As always, questions are very welcome. Don't be afraid to ask away if you're confused on anything!
