Great! Next he should get the costume designer. And the composer. And the writers. And the directors. And the cast.

I can't argue with that, everyone on that show should get more work.

There's no TMNT or Nick topic in the directory so the DC forums are my best bet since TMNT has had crossovers with Batman before: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1236831977

“ ”Fandom Flanderization“ & how many fans believe some aspect of a character is the only ”true“ version, usually dependent on when they first came upon the stories (think yellow oval on Batman's chest, all powerful Superman, Wonder Woman made from clay) & how that potentially diminishes our enjoyment of stories outside of what we expect.” - James Gunn

One of these examples is not at all applicable here and it is worrying.

I don’t see them using the New 52 origin, I don’t know what he means by the clay being flanderization (best I can think is that there’s more to it than that) but it’s not something to be worried about yet.

He will do the Zeus origin because it allows him to add another installment to the James Gunn Evil Dad Cinematic Universe.

He'll make Ana Nogueira put an evil dad in the script. The Justice League will all bond over their evil dads. He will retcon it so that Henry Allen actually killed Nora. It will become a multiversal constant, throughout every universe, that all DC dads are evil.

James Gunn needs to make his Punch Drunk Love. A movie that is completely different from his movies before that point. All he needs to do is make a movie without needle drops and without evil dads.
