My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 131.0.0.0, No Flash version detected

when developing my games i typically use an unshared dev mode copy when working on new updates so people in the main published project can't see any incomplete or broken stuff, and when the update is ready to be rolled out i save it to my computer using the file option and then upload it into the main project

but i have just recently finished my latest update and for the past week i have been trying to save the project to my computer to publish the update into the main game and the “save to your computer” button literally just doesnt respond; no download is initiated and nothing happens, there is no lagspike or freezing that you'd expect from beginning a download, and every other button on the file interface works just fine including the “load from your computer” button

i have tried this several times over the past week in different locations with varying wi-fi and internet connection and i have tested it on my home laptop (which i am writing this on), my school chromebook, and my friend's school chromebook, of which none have responded to my attempts to save the project to my computer; i have also tried saving a copy of the unshared project and then trying to download that one which also failed and didn't initiate any download

is anyone else experiencing this?? is scratch broken or is my project broken or????

Cannot replicate.
I can save projects to my computer just fine.

I had this happen once, while working on my big scratch project. (lots of files have been uploaded to it!) It did eventually pop up on my downloads after a bit of waiting. If you have a ton of music/costumes/code, it could probably just be because it's a big project. And bigger projects take longer to transfer through servers.

yeah i ended up just having to sit for 30 min and it eventually showed up in my downloads, thanks
