My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 141.0.0.0, No Flash version detected
so i tried to import a image from my files to scratch as a sprite but it didnt work not even when i tried to import as a background. PLS HELP!

Some questions:
1. What did Scratch show when you tried importing the image?
2. Was it asking for image file extensions (I heard some people report that it was asking for audio file extensions or something like that)
3. What was the file extension of the image?

well when i clicked the image witch was a .png file, it just didnt show up as a sprite! no massage, no nothing. but when i imported other .png files as a sprite they worked! it seems that this ONE png just WONT turn into a sprite! also when i clicked the problematic png in file explorer, it said that “it looks like we don't support this file format.” btw i use windows 11
