I mean, this generation has a bunch of people who have iPads, so I would find this more useful, and it doesn't seem so hard

technically Scratch is social media since users create and share UGC and create and manage profiles while networking with others. Both apple app store (for iPad/phone) and google play (for android) need something considered social media to have a blocking feature to become an app.

Scratch has rejected adding a blocking feature, so it likely cannot become an app.

Every Scratch version released on a mobile device features just the editor and extensions. So this argument is invalid.

i’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be the scratch platform itself
but instead the offline editor

Thought this topic was for adding an app similar to the main website.

If it is just the offline editor it can likely be added, I agree with this suggestion
To supersonic, its best to just leave the explanation, you don't need to say “your argument is invalid”. Just explain why the person was wrong/what they misunderstood and it will be a lot easier to discuss things.

It just asked for a version for Scratch for iOS, not necessarily with social features though

Yes, it was ambiguous. I should have paid more attention to the rest of the discussion, then maybe I could have found out.

I mean, the first post just says "I would really like it if you mae [sic] a version of Scratch for iOS." There's nothing else.
