In 2025, The “Welcome to Scratch! Get started here!” forum topic (pinned in the New Scratchers forum) was emporary closed.
The reason for this close was that a large number of users was spamming the topic, so, the Scratch Team (ST) temporary closed the topic to prevent from any other spams.
It was reopened some days after.
