Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]

i don't know if i have more informations about xylo2 because when i slowed down, it sounded like the musicbox from some roland synths and hardwares but mixed with some percussion like rhythm sound, like a xylophone or other instrument that i don't know.

interesting!

i'm pretty sure it sounds like general midi music box mixed in with the marimbas.

the first three Xylo loops are nothing but actually fully marimbas.

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]

On the SoundCloud pages for gryrow and pralax, gryrow's desc reads ‘full version of “Techno2” from Scratch’ and pralax's desc reads ‘full version of “Techno” from Scratch’ when it should be the other way around. Probably means nothing but still interesting. Also, is nlolhere the official account of gloob(ic)?

Also, in the linked video update mentioning Connor, it's said that Connor "made some new loops for Scratch" so the Dance tracks by him probably either don't have an extended version or were never shared/intended to be shared so I think maybe we should turn them green.

They weren't shown in the video update, so we don't have proof they were made by Connor.

wait a minute some of the 1.x projects that contain audio and sound from the library appear to have a little delay and pause and there is also a few seconds of silence after each sound ends.

its not the worst, just an interesting thing that happened to some of the tracks like Medieval 1, the last two Xylo tracks (not the first two that were assumed to be ripped from a CD or converted to .mp3), and mainly HB2 / Beatbox, so why have to claim it

also i'm just waiting for something.

ik.

looks like we'll neva know where HB2, Drip Drop, and the first three Xylo loops are, and the gloobic Improvisations Vault is basically a partially found vault / folder.

this full set thing, and almost all the other lost sessions isn't even archived either (i can't believe the techno loops are one of them) but looks like i'll like to do an experience

probably xylo2 uses Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth or Roland SC-55 (its because gm.dls uses low quality samples and can't be him)

that could likely be true or not.

I've mostly just been stalking this forum instead of contributing, but I found a YouTube playlist with some strange tracks. I'm still not sure where they come from, but it could be a helpful lead.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLL0CQjrcN8D0ctQj9JAHLvN8V8sRfUYHd

The version of Gryrow is a little longer, and strangely doesn't have the barks (idk what else to call them) around 40 seconds in, like the Soundcloud one has.
The version of Dance Head Nod is different, but sounds like the same song (could be from the same track?).
The version of Dance Energetic has lyrics (or adlibs)?
And there is a weird Scratch cat “meow” remix credited to Brian Nimens?

Sorry if this has already been discovered, I haven't looked at every post!
This has to be a joke.
THE ACCOUNT IS SILVERGUNNER. (if you don’t know who he is, he makes parodies of popular music)
lmao what I didn't even know silvagunner made scratch stuff

Silvagunner (he’s low-key annoying)

Wait I think I found the origin for Drip Drop! It seems to be in Got Inspiration by Braiden Ramsey, around 35 second mark

EDIT: nevermind, seems to be just a mix of random sound effects
this is the third time this has happened (First it was dance, then it was gay, and now it’s got inspiration {which I’m pretty sure is named after the vocal track by the same name from scratch 1.0}) edit: BAHAHA GOT INSPIRATION IS BY THE SAME GUY WHO MADE GAY

Something is… really off. Why does it say June 8th 2015 when there are projects made before that date with dance celebrate? Also, i was using the way back machine to run ruffle in the editor (cuz the ruffle app doesn’t work the way I want it to) and all the dance tracks are there… and they are all .wav unfortunately
I believe the reason so may be that someone created the music that was on scratch then with its common use in scratch projects it earned its way into the official scratch library
UPDATE I FOUND IT (start at 0:13):

Page 23 post 459. Unfortunately, it was just a mashup mix video released earlier this year (2025) and Dance Magic released sometime back in 2015

Already watched it before that reply

It sounds like they just copied the sounds from Scratch and claimed them as their own. Also the video was uploaded in 2020, which was after most of the sounds were added to Scratch.
i don't like the way when people thought the finds that were from 2018-present onwards are the real thing.

gotta love how the wayback machine JUST archived the link for gyrow 2 weeks ago like it’s still gonna be helpful (its not)
Link?
https://web.archive.org/web/20250815021823/http://web.media.mit.edu/%7Exercyn/sound/gloobic/05.09.25/09%20s6%20-%20gryrow.mp3

the only URL saved is just the page data and not the music
that was just late as this search started, maybe it would be gone too far if it was actually found and archived while Pralax 19 wasn't found and archived and might the opposite EVEN will be gone away since Teletoon's shutdown.
UPDATE: maaaaaan, very recently, even 19 have also gotten the same thing and just followed a suit too. but it's also not more helpful enough at all.

i will look up these synths on YouTube for any info or resemblance just to check if this is true

EDIT: i only found some drum samples for the Roland SC-88 but it sorta sounds like it. but this all could be coincidental but idk

people are thoughtful to when they think this version is the real origin of it. the other way thing about this, the user was really do a silvagunner clone, and there are lots of them on this platform too.

UPDATE: JAJAJAJAJA GUY ACTUALLY SAMPLED WEIRD BIRD WHICH WAS A DELTARUNE SONG this was a truly silver joke.
UPDATE 2: i feel like i maybe could try to find the rumored Mandela effect version of GC2 (Guitar Chords 2) that was said to likely be a kids song, plus, did some kids shows also contain or use this version? maybe someone could check for some of the shows (could be from 2004 or possibly later) to see if they did used it/him, its/his possible kids song version or not (this is definitely and probably unlikely ).
it/he could have the kids laughing, wrong or not? :/
