Basically what the title says, there's no ‘off’ block for face sensing.
This is workaroundable by using

turn video [off v]

from the video sensing extension, but this might not be immediately obvious to some people, particularly if they've never used the video sensing extension before

It doesnt even fully work, as face sensing will randomly turn the camera back on sometimes

My workaround DOES work, but apparently only temporarily
I mean, you could use a forever loop but…..

forever
turn video [off v]
end

And see if it crashes your PC

It's so dumb that this doesn't exist!
Imagine you accidentally turn it on. Your project is effectively ruined, unless you reload and lose some progress

Reminder that if you remove all face-sensing blocks and save and reload your project, it will remove the extension

Of course even with this we badly need a camera off block.

Because you are technically showing a block that should exist in Scratch, which is still suggesting. Also, I support because for some reason I can't figure out how to turn it off after adding the extension.

It is still suggesting, it doesn't matter if you are mentioning a workaround.

Also, you can't use cloud variables because you can't get rid of it and it turns off when you change sprite

if it's a cloud variable then you can't use it.
Even if you take all the blocks away, it still remains!

This is probably caused by the hidden monitors bug. As a workaround you can open the project in TurboWarp and save it, then upload that to Scratch

For me it happens when I

• reload the project with all Video Sensing blocks removed
  
• click See Inside
  
• switch to a different sprite in the editor
  
• if I save the project after turning the camera off and keep the video sensing blocks in it (it works even if I disconnect them from the event blocks), the camera turns on temporarily but it turns itself off after a few seconds (even if I don't click the green flag)
