Upload Video Extension
This “Upload Video” extension will work when you have/want to upload a video.
Flie Type
● .MP4,MOV or WebM can be supported in this extension.
Or for more video file types:
New video file types:
WMV,MKV
Older but still supported:
AVI,VOB
Video Size
This restricts on how much a video size can be avoiding lag.
●700 MB or 1GB
For bigger sizes:
1.5 GB or 2.5 GB
At max:
3 GB
How to upload?
1. Copy-paste the video URL
2.Upload a video from File Explorer/Finder like how you can upload a sound.
Purpose:
The purpose of this “Upload Video” is that you upload a video to show information/content easily instead of making it by code and costumes.
(Great for new scratchers or scratchers who don't want to code to much.)
Overall, this shoundn't replace the coding in Scratch.

Upload Video Extension
Interesting idea. Need clarification:
1. Wouldn't 1 GB, let alone 3 GB be too big to store in a scratch project?(Some projects already struggle with only around 2-10mb)
2. Would it need a new blocks category?(Could be hard to make for scratch team)
3. Would it work like a video player or just display the video?
Partial support

Upload Video Extension
This is a great idea. I support this. But like the post above, this needs additional clarification. Short answer: Main issues are Functionality, Moderation, and File Storage.
Long answer (This was long when I finished writing this. It is shortened for the sake of your time.):
1. Functionality
It is not clear how the video will get processed and played. Will it be imported as a sprite or embedded in a video player? If it's uploaded as a sprite, then how will it get converted? If it's embedded, then where will the video be hosted? Please edit your post to explain this.
2. Moderation
3. Cloud Storage

2. Moderation
Support, if it has a message like this.It would be more than just anyone's face. Anything could be uploaded that goes against the guidelines, and would be visible to anyone. This includes excessive profanity, mild violence and sexual content (This is not a full list). This requires a large moderation team which is not available right now. Please make sure anyone's face is not included in the video.
3. Cloud Storage
1. Wouldn't 1 GB, let alone 3 GB be too big to store in a scratch project?(Some projects already struggle with only around 2-10mb)Right now, 10 MB is the maximum size for a single project. Most videos are larger than this. Which means most projects that make use of this will be larger than 10 MB. The rest will be larger than 1 MB. This is above the ST's limits, and they would need large amounts of data storage. It will also increase project load times, even for bad connections.
