I’ve liked all the stuff so far but I’m so glad we’re getting a break from Gunn projects for 2026.

What if at the end of the show Rick Flag Jr says “Rick Flag, what a joke” throws his shirt away and wears Peacemakers helmet in his honor

No one really talks about anything interesting on here anymore besides “Peacemaker”, I'm unfollowing, I guess DC isn't for me after all.

I really liked the ending but why did I feel like that was an excuse on Gunn’s part to film a rock concert?

Because it’s the recent show? People want to talk about the new show setting up the DCU, not a show from 2013.

If that makes Gunn one of your least favorite directors, you need to see more movies.

That was mostly a joke, but it would be a terrible decision to not make a Superman character the main antagonist of the Superman movie (I don't care what James Gunn says, it is clearly a Superman sequel).

I agree but thankfully it clearly won’t be Flag. He’ll be a background presence probably but I think we’re getting Braniac or Ultra-Humanite

PLEASE be Ultra-Humanite, that would be so cool. Also it's a gorilla, gorillas sell.

I think Grood will be a major villain going forward but the brain picture on the cover has to mean something.

The brain is probably the villain with the word ‘brain’ in his name, but Ultra-Humanite would be an inspired choice (The clear best choice is Wallace Shawn as Mxy, though).

Gunn should adapt the part where Ultra-Humanite hired a racketeer to seize control of Metropolis's taxi trade. That part definitely fits well into a modern context.

I think the brain might just be referring to Flag/Lex/etc.

Clancy Brown as Ultra-Humanite?

I thought the finale was very good, I feel like some aspects were rushed but it tied off the character developments well. Generally I feel like the first season was better, easier to follow and tighter writing and such, but the second season was very good television as well.
