so I was thinking about dailies and weeklies, maybe each week there could be 2 weeklies, one for writing and one for design or we could alternate between writing and design, same thing for dailies!

…Eight weeklies in all definitely seem like a bit much, haha. This works, I think! Since people would likely be busy with other camps in January as well, as brought up by some, I doubt anyone would really be looking to complete either four writing weeklies or four designing weeklies. I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I'll post whenever I do.

62 dailies isn't impossible, but we could have both the writing and designing activity could stem from the same general topic, perhaps? Terrible example, but for instance let's say the daily revolves around plants. The writing component of the daily would be to incorporate plants into a story (e.g. using different plants/flowers as motifs), while the designing one could be something along the lines of designing an informational poster about a specific plant species. Just throwing things out LOL, but what do we think-?

yep, I get where yume and encryn are coming from! so, guys let's alternate, I guess? and let's do february- I blocked that month bc of my finals, but as our host group is pretty huge, it doesn't matter if I skip a day or so being online lol

chiming in here! i agree with cat that two weeklies/dailies per day/week are a bit much so i think we can just do dailies and weeklies with designing and writing implemented into one at the same time! So kinda like encryn said <3

what would yall think about releasing leader apps in november :00 it would give us more time for people to plan (I know jwc does that and it works) and people could count app words for swc

yep! it's a great idea! and uh what if one of us wants to colead? who'll choose the leaders and do sorting? then I don't think we should have a competition, maybe ultra high stakes cabin wars in the last week :0 third thought, I can't collab on canva because that's my personal acc with irl name and all, and I don't feel comfortable sharing it <3 so what about projects?

I’m okay with any of them! I feel like I have enough experience with all of them because of wuc!

I will say I’m slightly more experienced with sorting, designing and co-leading though!

and also I can make an anonymous spreadsheet with you all if we’d like to organize that way??
If so I’ll create it later, for now I’m going back to sleep it’s 6am

my general thoughts (looong list oops):

that a couple of us (rotating each session, whoever doesn't want to lead) should do the deciding
if we have enough people, we should have coleaders, else only leaders
february session is okay with me, we could do february, june, september (if we keep the 3 month gap it'll interfere with october wuc)
chocolate, if you could explain the anonymous spreadsheet thing more for designing, I'll see
(contd.) we could discuss the overall canva fonts and themes here so everything in projects goes smoothly and designing people are all in the same boat
personally I need to learn about sorting, so I don't think I'll be able to do it for this session

no, the anonymous spreadsheet is not for designing, its more for point adding, camper sorting and other cabin info (i use g00gl3 sh33ts all the time for wuc and its completely anonymous if youre worried about that)
