so the main steps of complete a palace are to infiltrate the palace, locate the treasure, send the calling card (a little card thingy that tells the victim you’re onto them, making their treasure (manifestation of corrupt desires, more specific than actual palace) into something physical (still in the metaverse), and then go defeat the boss and steal the treasure!

so that’s four main storyline points! technically you’re supposed to steal the treasure one day after sending out the calling card, but it’s fine xD

in the game, you have a certain number of days to infiltrate the palace (a couple weeks or so), and then a day where you send a calling card and a day where you actually steal their heart! obviously we can’t 100% follow this schedule, but we could have the first weekend as setting up like mentioned, then maybe being introduced to the mission specifics that first week (like nov 3)! we could do palace infiltration with the outer area the first week, mid area the second week, inner area the third week, calling card that weekend-ish, and then boss fight the last week? with the weekends being chill/school type of days (ah yes school on weekends makes perfect sense)

thoughts on this? my worry is camper inactivity :(

I love the idea and timeline you’ve got, I think that if we set it up right it should be possible even if there’s a bit of inactivity. I feel like we should leave a couple of extra days just empty, so that if one activity somehow goes for longer we’re still on time and not stressing. <3
And school on weekends of course :P

oopsy i’m doing pretty good too! school’s been a huge pain and i’m very lost in every subject ever loll but i got to stay home yesterday so it isnt all bad <3 (glad you’re well too, liv!!)

the timeline points sound good! school on weekends sounds good too haha, especially since cabin wars are usually then so campers could focus on that instead of storyline (unless we wanted to plan a fun mini-plot point for cabin war days? maybe something of a rivalry with other “schools”/cabins through sports of competitions or whatever(?))

agreeing that camper inactivity is probably our biggest concern :( having gap days sounds like a great idea, that way we can have room for flexibility - or the school days could be gap days? like we’d have them but they’re also open to be removed as needed (so that way we could leave in the 22/23rd?)
i also think it depends on how our cabin ends up, some cabins are really active and others arent i guess - we could wait and see and keep requirements for activities loose so they can be adjusted as needed,,, ex. if our cabins super active we’d need 5 people to complete an activity and if not then just 1 is fine
in summary, i think the best way to counter possible inactivity is to keep the whole thing flexble and maybe make some backup storyline endings - might get a bit messy on our end but if we tried really hard we could keep it somewhat organized lol
