«Costume editor glitching?»

My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.15.7, Safari 18.6, No Flash version detected

This is weird… when you select a costume, you know the blue thing around the part you selected? When I drag the costume, it refuses to follow my mouse… until I lift my mouse, and it’s only when I drag before I click it… did this happen recently? Did I miss something? I’m stumped.

oh God, now I am so bothered by it. It only seems to happen when you try to click and drag it directly without clicking on it and then click and drag tho, so maybe just try to click on the thing you want to move first before you click and drag it to your desired position until the issue is fixed.

Not sure if it's intentional or not, but I have it

Can someone verify that this wasn't something already here (like, check the ones on the stores if they haven't added this feature yet, the Windows 3.29.1 direct download link, and the 3.31.1 Mac direct download link)

I think it’s more likely to be a bug than intentional, because after you drag it once and this happens it goes back to following the thing you’re dragging. I also wouldn’t see why the ST would intentionally do this.

I don't have it in TurboWarp Desktop, and it doesn't seem to be in 3.29.1 (sigh..)

If I start dragging a shape that isn't selected, the shape moves but the selection around it doesn't move until I release the mouse.
I can verify that this bug wasn't there in the September 4 online editor version (when I downloaded a copy of the scratch-editor github)
