Well, the same people that worked on Fire Emblem are working on Project S.T.E.A.M. Any actual point stops there. It just seems like Nintendo wanted more games with Amiibo functionality. Although admittedly, it's a nice nod to the fans of the series.

Gold Mario was hard though, I had to buy it on eBay because my local Walmart was full of Nintendo Nerds/Scalpers

Hey guys, remember when Skylanders was popular a couple of years ago and then everyone wanted them, they were functional on multiple consoles, and could be found easily?

Are Gold Marios really that expensive? They are used for MP 10 (I'm gonna get that game soon) and I'm really persuaded in purchasing it instead of the regular Mario.

By the way the only amiibo I have for Smash Bros. is the Mario one and I'm planning to get a Villager amiibo which I'm going to call Gilbert.

I'm only getting the ones for MP10 (Mario Party 10). The only ones I'm still trying to find are Rosalina and Wario (pre-order). If anyone knows where
I can buy these for list price, PLEASE let me know.

Gold Mario was sold at Walmart for the same price as regular amiibos. They up the price on eBay and it get's sold out fast.

I remember! I actually have the first game, and some Giants Skylanders that were compatible with it.

It really sucks that Wave 4 was sold out already! ;n; I have a feeling I won't be able to get my hands on an amiibo I pre-nicknamed “Wonderful!”.

Got a Yoshi amiibo and named it Al! I'm using my true Yoshi power against him so we can be like battling twins.

Now I understand why amiibos in Smash Bros. are really popular.
