Doesn't help that the original SkiTol shorts were, well, shorts. In my eyes a series that was originally made for short-form content would be kind of difficult to adapt into a successful movie people would want to watch.

But I mean I could be totally wrong and the movie will end up becoming successful.

It will likely be one of movies that has low reviews but succeed in the box office (aka being profitable)

I'll be honest, they should've just made it long from the start and put more story into it, from what I've seen there's something going on, but the shorts format made it kinda hard to keep track of

This was bound to happen. Heads/bodies stuck in toilets have always been a comedic effect. So if some gmod youtuber looked into that and said “Hey! Why not make a series about it?” And added it's own horror along with it, it became successful as 1. Gmod comedy videos are popular 2. Toilet humor.

With SkTo, it could have came with many other names. Idk how it became a weapon to hate on children. But what is true is the fact that it actually went from some funny gmod skit to a full on disaster. Hence the rise of the term brainrot

Brainrot used to be a bad term. It meant something bad, and it had a big fat label on it. Until Italian brainrot came. Unlike SkTo, it wasn't made by ANY human, it was AI generated. And unlike SkTo, it had offensive meanings in some. (Sk may have been offensive but idk I never watched it, and never will)
Now with a game with the tern “Steal a brainrot” it became a worse disaster. Ever wanted to hear your 9 year old child say a racial slur? Let them play this game. They'll break down in the next ten minutes.

It just shows proof that better parenting could have prevented this. “But noooooo being strict is bad.” Being strict for people under 16-18 is better for someone's health. I am MORE than thankful to not roam around as a kid and ruin my digital footprint at the age of 10. Even I have strict parents and I thank them every day for not leading me like those other kids.
