So my project where I shared my song Timekeeper just got taken down yesterday because I believe someone sent a report saying it was not original. It is original, and that can be verified by checking the upload date (October 23, 2024), and no other project contains it before that date, it is also posted on other websites on that date. How can I repeal this or get in contact with the scratch team? I saw no way to do this in the report message I received. I would really like not to copy the project over and post it again, as that might further the perception that my song is not original due to the upload date.

The Scratch Team has removed this project because it contains content that was copied without credit. It's fine to remix someone else's sprites, scripts, or images as long as you provide credit to everyone whose work you used in the project notes and make a meaningful change to it. If you want to re-share your project, make sure you provide credit and perhaps describe what you changed in the project notes.

asking the ST to review the date doesn't actually do anything as you could easily backpack content. however, use contact us (scratch.mit.edu/contact-us) to contact the ST, just gather enough proof and they'll probably review your appeal.

thank you. I believe it would prove originiality because you can see the date modified.

what I do (in case this does happen) is always have an unshared copy of it, and If it does happen, just message the scratch team abt it
