The Official Super Fighter Re:Tournament Thread
Again, how does everybody know what moves are what? Can someone help?I think darks c2 is also pretty powerfulNeat!Fair point, and I guess block exists, but low level bots are helpless against the spamDarc's C1 needs to be nerfed!!! It should take more hits to charge it up because when you use it your opponent is dragged towards you, you get a free hit, and that is enough to charge up your C1 again, rinse and repeat. D:
eh, the combos can be quite spacing specific and are the only combos he really gets, I feel like that surface aspect of it is relatively balanced. maybe buff needles and zone to encourage more diversity in specials, but it's a perfectly manageable move.
Yeah. I've been thinking about making a moveset overhaul mod of the game, and if I were to nerf scarfing in said mod, I'd probably remove or rework the armour on it.

I don't know anything about the code but if you mean literally how to perform the move in game, there's a neutral move, a charged move, a move while moving left or right, a move while holding down on the ground, a move while holding down in the air, a move for holding up, and the C1/C3/C5 moves.Okay, but how do you know how to do each move?Is there a chart somewhere that lists how to do the moves and what they are called? I also do not understand how to make a character. Where do you put the sprites and stuff? Could someone explain it?There's a list that holds all the move names, but for the basic stuff, they just follow the naming convention of character number, type.

Xavier, Edward, & Darc all have their sprites replaced with big question marks while in training mode. Is anyone else experiencing this?

(A shorter version of this is posted on the SFrT project)
I'm not sure if this is an intended thing with the newest character Darc, but when using Darc's full combo point move, if you can get somebody under the stage (Battlefield and Shrine are the easiest to do this on) but you can get them stuck just outside the barrier created by Darc's move so they are constantly being bounced back and forth between the underside of the stage and the bottom of the barrier. This can quickly rack up any opponent to 300+ damage and guarantee their death. It works especially well on the Shrine stage when Darc jumps up to the top platform as it makes the barrier hit twice as fast. With practice, this could become a very easy to perform and very unbalanced feeling combo with Darc.
TL;DR Darc can ricochet any opponent indefinitely underneath the stage and it's very funny to watch.

You should watch the video in the description for a better understanding, but if u want it rn then C1 is the move when one portion of meter is filled up (I.e darc's pull) C3 is move with 3 portions of bar (I.e darc's portal thingys) C5 is move with full meter (I.e Darc's aoe thing)Again, how does everybody know what moves are what? also I probably found a bug with Edward. Sometimes his snowballs kinda go back on stage when it was kinda supposed to go off instead. also he kinda has inconsistent knock back

Rikaal is like incineroar's grab and thows with samus's beam and a pair of wings thrown in tooI'd compare it more to luigi's grab - really high payoff, and hard to punish, in L's case the disjoint and in rikaal's the invincibility/intangibility. and yes, for the record, he can 0-death really easily. and one tap shields occasionally.

As a Darc main myself I can see he does need a couple nerfs here and there although the perishability of his recovery does kinda make up for it.Darc's C1 needs to be nerfed!!!
