Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
The PAA is unlikely or was in motion prior to 2015 as I found the dance loops were in scratch version v422 (I think that was the version?) and somebody else on this topic said with a proof link that the version was made somewhere before or during AprilThey are probably adults know (or close to 18) so there's a possibility we could contact them.We should probably drop the scratch team theory for now, since we now know that Arts Impact could’ve had the files and shared them with ST Maybe we should update our dance 2.0 loops finding

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
It's so lucky coincidence. Yesterday I was searching for 2.0 sounds and asked in QaS, and then someone moved to the top this topic

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
So guys, do you remember not too long ago when we found out that some of the dance tracks (magic and around i think those were the dance tracks) were released in .mp3 for a short while and I found that every known project with them were all in .wav? Well I think I have the explanation. 1: Every .mp3 file from scratch versions prior to 2.0 were converted to mp3 and 2: Scratch team likely has the mp3 versions so maybe we could contact them? Cuz why would they have .mp3 in the name when they first released?

Do some of the members of the scratch team know that they have the origins?

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
Likely, because they downloaded them (or composed them possibly) and might likely have the .mp3 files for them (and btw, mp3 files store artist, name, release date, and album metadata which the release version of the dance tracks in 2.0 (.wav) do NOT have)So guys, do you remember not too long ago when we found out that some of the dance tracks (magic and around i think those were the dance tracks) were released in .mp3 for a short while and I found that every known project with them were all in .wav? Oh, so anyway if scratch 4.0 releases and there will be new loops, will it be harder?

Likely no, as the ST has appeared to use more mainstream artists and had began crediting the artists too. Wait!!!
I have a theory. So if drum is a short track made by beau silver, then wouldn’t that mean “drip drop,” “human beatbox 2” and xylo3 were made by beau silver too? Idk.

Idk.It was clear that Beau Silver was put in the metadata of his tracks and that wasn’t done for drip drop, human beatbox2, and xylo3. Also their quality doesnt exactly match Beau silver’s tracks.
If it was done for those tracks, we would be happy

Where do the Music Loops Come From? [UPDATED]
I saw that image in a very old project once. Gonna check again to see if I can find it.also I found this in the filesDarn. I figured as much tbh but it's always worth checking anywaysOhhhh the .json? From what I’ve seen so far the sound effects (the ones I’ve seen so far) are the same name as their website counterparts. Afaik it's not a matter of decoding but finding the file that identifies the hashed files!
Like when you download a scratch project and unpack it the files are identified in project.json, so there must be something like that in the Scratch program itself? I can probably look into it myself, later…
Edit: couldn't find yet but I found this https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/3747/

That was a backdrop in 2.0. But discussing backdrop origins would be another topic entirely.
