It's been happening off and on for me, like when I went to my email settings I saw a banner about the new policy change from… 2023 and then logged me out. My current account has already accepted these AND was made after these, so WHAT.
It's stopped for me for NOW… hopefully.

By the way, can anyone check if they are being logged out if they can't save projects (that's what happened to me once now). However, I also had an issue twice where it didn't save until I clicked try again.

Looks very inconsistent.
My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.15.7, Chrome 140.0.0.0, No Flash version detected
Edit: my macOS version is showing up as 10.15 when it's actually MacOS 26, just to clarify.

It only happens to certain people, and I've got it in previous years too on a lot of devices, OSes, and browsers, not just this year.
I've tried on multiple accounts as well, and I've experienced the following:
1. Logged out on accounts I haven't used in a while
2. Logged out on accounts I only have signed in on one profile/browser
3. Logged out on both Scratch 2.0 and 3.0 pages
4. Logged out on browsers that never allowed for browser extensions
5. Logged out, even after password changes

Something I want to state: MacOS reports 10.15.x now on browsers in the user agent, even on later versions, to prevent fingerprinting. This isn't a Scratch-exclusive thing

it's probably because you're using safari. the same problem happened to me on safari, but it ran fine on google chrome.

My internet connection is strong. I never use Scratch on mobile data. I never have Scratch logged in on more than one device at a time. What is happening, and can I fix it?

it's because you are using safari. google chrome makes it run buttery smooth without logging out. hope this helps
