I want to have 3.0 editor look like 2.0…

Umm I want a toggle switcher between 3.0 and 2.0 look. Full ported from Flash. I know this will not exist but it's cool. Can somebody make an Chrome extension for it or something? SCRATCH TEAM DO NOT BAN, NOT PROMOTING CHROME EXTENSIONS If you aren't using (removed by moderator - please don't name browser extensions) 3.0 Scratchblocks in forums (beta), look at my signature blocks! That would be a step forward!

(Asking ST to move to Suggestions, although I think this is already suggested)

Anyway, I already know you can kinda do that with (let's call this scratch's secret space missile, sssm for short.)

Rejected by the Scratch Team:

2.3 Set the editor to look like older versions of Scratch

Some users prefer the look and feel of the Scratch 2.0 editor, and have suggested that the editor look like Scratch 2.0, but still run off of HTML5 like Scratch 3.0 does. However, this would be more complicated for educational and documentation purposes. It could be confusing if someone is trying to learn Scratch from someone who is using a completely different layout of the editor than them.

In addition, the Scratch Team changed the design for a reason: to make it easier, more intuitive, and friendlier for newcomers to use. If you dislike the Scratch 3.0 editor, you can still download the Scratch 1.4 or Scratch 2.0 offline editors.

You could always download the scratch 2.0 editor. It might not be as flexible as the online one, but it looks like the 2.0 editor. I am guessing you probably know about it but it's there.

Sorry, but this is rejected:

The Official List of Rejected Suggestions wrote:

2.4 Revert back to older versions of the Scratch editor
The Scratch editor has to update sometimes to accommodate certain changes. In particular, an online editor that ran off of Adobe Flash (rather than Java) was added in the Scratch 2.0 editor, and the Scratch 3.0 editor was created for tablet support and in anticipation of the discontinuation of Flash. Changing the editor back to these older versions would not only undo years of hard work by the Scratch Team, but they also might not work online anymore. If you wish, you can download the Scratch 1.4 and Scratch 2.0 offline editors.

The Scratch Team is still working on bug fixes, new features, and other improvements on the Scratch 3.0 editor. The new interface was created in such a way that it is easy for the Scratch Team to keep working on improvements. The Scratch Team will continue to evaluate constructive feedback on how they could improve upon the current Scratch editor.
Please make sure that all suggestions you make in the future follow TOLORS.

You're probably not going to get a complete 1-to-1 recreation of 2.0's interface, but with some TurboWarp addons, you can make a 2.0 like interface:

Here's a TW addon JSON that you can import. (scroll to the bottom of the TW addons page, and click Import)
it might work with THE EXTENSION
