Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Klasky Csupo is copyrighted and the following statement is NOT wrong and it’s that sprunki has since been banned from scratch so any project that contains sprunki characters or mentions of sprunki, inappropriate or not, can get banned.

Yes, “Sprunki” projects are generally banned on Scratch. While some original Sprunki content may have been removed due to violations of the Scratch Community Guidelines, the issue extends to even appropriate Sprunki-related content because it was easily redirecting users to inappropriate material. A potential blanket ban on all Sprunki projects was also considered by the Scratch Team.
