I can't seem to find a way to create a studio. I've checked everything in my stuff, and it only has a ‘New Project’, not a ‘New Studio’. I'm not a new scratcher- I should have access. Any ideas how to fix this? I'm a bit stuck.

Unfortunately student accounts cannot create studios. This is due to spam incidents where classes either got hacked or created in order to lag the servers using spam projects and studios.
If you wish to create a studio you'd have to create a separate account that is not part of your class
