Sarah June, the creator of the original nyan cat video, uploaded a video called meow in 2023, supporting palestine. Chris Torres, the artist who made the original poptart cat gif, claimed this was using his art against his will, and took the video down, likely to avoid controversy affecting his nft sales.
What I find stupid about this is that the meow video never uses Chris’s art within it. It begins with the intro of the momo cover of nyanyanya with a rainbow, but that’s all the relation it has to the nyan cat meme. The actual poptart cat is never shown in the video. He did not create the concept of a rainbow, nor did he create nyanyanya or the momo cover. If you ask me, Chris isn’t the creator of nyan cat, Sarah is. She was the one who combined the poptart cat gif with the momo cover of nyanyanya, he only created poptart cat. Of course, Chris should have ownership over his art, but it just rubs me the wrong way… especially since he owes almost all of the success of poptart cat to Sarah.

I think the Palestine meow video is still up it's just the original nyan cat was taken down which is a shame,

Honestly, I find it unlikely. Unless you can find any proof, you could say that about so many voicebanks.
Firstly, Sonika was likely developed in around a year at most and was made as an experiment in response to miku’s popularity as far as I can tell.
Secondly, I’d also argue that tonio and prima were also experiments, specifically with the new advancements of v2, since I highly doubt that v1 would be able to produce opera style vocals, or that they’d even attempt that. Whilst vocaloid1 was more successful than many realize (every v1 except kaito sold as or above expected), it was also a lot less advanced than people realize, which actually was why jodie and ronie were delayed to vocaloid2, eventually becoming sweet ann and big al.
Thirdly, they were not at all secretive around the existence of any of the vocaloid1 voicebanks. At least with sweet ann, there are demos of her beta jodie voicebank, so if the v2 zero-g loids were developed for v1 originally, then we would definitely know about it, or at least some mystery unreleased voicebanks.
Lastly, considering that zero-g only made 3 v1s, 3 v2s, 1 v3 and 2 v4s, the likelihood that they would’ve planned to release 6 voicebanks for one engine just seems very unlikely to me.
However, the very original boxes for leon and lola (I’m unaware if it was ever sold or if it was just a concept) actually had two other matching boxes in the same style: “cute vocals” and “classical vocals”. I think you could definitely make the argument that the classical vocals imply that there was at least the idea of perhaps creating an operatic vocaloid in the v1 era. However, classical doesn’t necessarily mean opera, so it is a bit of a flimsy argument. I think that these were likely just concepts and not actual vocaloids they planned to release.
Again, if you have any evidence to suggest that sonika, tonio and prima were planned for v1, I’d love to see it. This is quite interesting to think about, and I’m extremely interested in the behind the scenes of vocaloid’s development.

Why were some people prepared for miku nt to be mitchie m but you don’t have to do any actual tuning. Honestly, this is an incredible voicebank based the fact she actually sounds unique. Most feminine V6’s sound almost identical. She actually has very little engine noise in comparison to most voicebanks. And it’s still a beta voicebank so hopefully she’ll improve even more.
