correct!
I’m just reading the descriptions of different media in the Lupin franchise on various websites and I realized that the characters in The Bad Guys have a lot of similarities to the ones in that franchise
I realized that Chief/Commissioner Misty Luggins from The Bad Guys (my fav character in those films) is literally just Inspector Zenigata from Lupin III but gender swapped, and Mr. Wolf is basically Lupin as a furry

Does anyone have recommendations? I like humorous and/or slice of life anime and also like it when there are a lot of female characters

Slayers is a comedic fantasy from the 90s that's quite good if you're into a combination of slapstick, characters being absolutely insane and ripping apart fantasy tropes
Also Frieren is quite slice-of-life (if you live in a fantasy world with magic) and has quite a few funny moments. There's a lot of sad moments in it as well tho because it is a story about grief and learning to live in the moment
Uma Musume is about horse girls. It had a boom on popularity all of a sudden recently so you've probably seen it around but the anime is well worth a watch

I remember watching this one named azumanga daioh, it was funny and has girls as the main cast.
Currently im watching yuru△camp, which is more of watching girls have fun camping moments (i mean it's in the title), yet it's surprisingly very calming. Its my comfort show ^o^
See you tomorrow at the food court is a more recent show, it only has two main characters. The plot only revolves about them going to a foodcourt and talking about stuff and has some funny scenes
sketchbook ~full colors~ is an extremely underrated show, and it doesn't have much of a fanbase its about a quiet/shy girl and her going to a drawing club where she gets to meet new friends while trying to remove her quiet side (i haven't watched it in a while so i think i got stuff wrong lol)
Lucky✮Star centers on a group of girls doing cute things, i guess. The first scenes literally have the main characters talking about how to eat pastries correctly. It also makes many references to otaku culture (and is weird at times so keep it in mind)
FINALLY, out of all these series Little witch academia is the only one here that has actually has a plot!!!!! its not rlly slice of life since something crazy happens in each episode. Its about a girl who goes to a witch school because her idol is one and she meets friends and learns i guess. (the second season is more serious but still great ) Again i haven't watched it in a while so i may got stuff wrong.

can you tell i also like watching these shows. i hope you enjoyy

I remember when I was in like 4th and 5th grade I binge-read almost all of the Pokemon Adventures manga at my school and public library, pretty good series
then when I picked up a Western graphic novel I almost started to read it right to left like a manga

just finished the first volume of Spy x Family from my LA/SS classroom library
this is so good
Anya is just so sweet and Loid/Twilight slowly genuinely loving Yor and Anya as an actual family is so wholesome
yeah there’s some realistic violence and blood in here (at least it’s still in black and white) and a swear twice or thrice here and there, but this is a mostly surprisingly wholesome and heartwarming manga!
gonna see if I can find the second volume anywhere for me to borrow

Can I get some recommendations? I’ve watched Dragon Ball, Outlaw Star, Frieren, and I’m currently in the middle~ of Inuyasha, though I’m getting close to the end.

Rurouni Kenshin is a good watch and a remake came out recently (though if you don't want to support the mangaka probably pirate, I won't say what he did on scratch but it's rather serious)
Yaiba also got a remake recently that's very good, the animation alone makes it worth it and the story is very fun. It's by the same author as Case Closed and Kaito Kid
Ranma 1/2 is by the same authoress as Inuyasha so if you liked that you might like Ranma as well
Slayers is an 80s comedy show (not demon slayer, the one with Lina Inverse) but it make take a bit of hunting depending on what streaming platform you're using.
Code Geass is one of the best written anime and it's visually gorgeous as well, though I would recommend for 14+ because of content (it has some very dark themes and one scene that's a bit questionable)
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is one of the best anime of all time and one of my personal favourites
Sakamoto Days is a recent anime that's very good as well, though it can get a little gory at times, but not much more than your average action flick. My favourite characters in that are Osaragi and Shin
Toilet Bound Hanako Kun gives me similar energy to Inuyasha if you want to try that one out as well (note: I haven't finished Inuyasha yet either so I might be wrong)

Fairy Tail is one of my favorite anime of all time and if you like Dragon Ball I suggest giving that a try!

If you want to branch out and watch a darker anime, DEATH NOTE is soooooo good.
